As we were unable to find a suitable new owner for Chenea, she has remained with us. Much to the delight of her sister Cephyr.
Chenea 12 weeks young.
We showed Chenea and Cephyr a few times in the puppy and junior classes. The first time she got 2 Promising out of thes two. The next day she was 1 Very Promising and Best Puppy. A week later she was also 1 Very Promising and Jüngsten BOB. On 31 August she was second again and during the Jahresausstellung in Welzheim, Germany she was second with a Very Good.
Chenea also does not quite meet the requirements I set for a show Deerhound, so she too is being “trained” as a coursing hound.
She showed great interest in this game from the outset and appears to be very enthusiastic.
Chenea has six brothers: Cygnor, Corwyn, Caelen James, Cute Flynn, Cwtch, Cyrus Brandir, and three sisters: Cree, Cuillin, and Cephyr.
