Cephyr 12 weeks young.
Cephyr had made it clear from the very beginning that she belonged with us. She would always snuggle up to me or on me. She was also the one who was almost strangled by her brother when they were 10 days old. And that really affects you.
Cephyr is the least pretty puppy, but she’ll probably really enjoy coursing!
A sad moment. Cephyr with Nicky, our now deceased neighbor, and great-grandfather Nimloth Brandir, whom we had put to sleep a few hours later.
We have shown Cephyr a few times in the puppy and junior class. The first time she received 1 Promising and Best Puppy out of 2. The next day she was 2 Very Promising. A week later she was also 2 Very Promising. On August 31 she was first again and Best Junior Female, and during the Deerhound Jahresausstellulg in Germany she ended up last (5th) with a Very Good.
But in the meantime, she has shown that she really wants to compete in coursing, so that’s what we’re going for!
