Ch. Craffitsh O’Cockaigne
Ch. Craffitsh O’Cockaigne
Born: 20-04-2005
Died: 15-12-2011 to Osteosarcoma (bone cancer).
At a young age, during a coursingtraining, Craffitsh rolled over a number of times and did not find it a funny game anymore. Occasionally he did and ran the stars out of heaven, but after he had got the line around his hind legs it was completely finished.
He was a real showman. The following titles may be named: Dutch, International, Danish, Luxembourgish, Swedish and Belgian Champion, Luxembourg Youth Champion, Jugend Winner Donaueschingen ’06, Jahrhundert Jugend Sieger ’06, A’dam Winner ’06, Eurosighthound Winner ’07 and KBWC Winner ’07.
Both in 2007 and 2009, Craffitsh was third in the Open class at Crufts and at the World Exhibition in Stockholm (2008) he received the CAC and Reserve CACIB.
He was showed 36 times and obtained: 4 x VB, 24 x 1Exc, 1 x 2Exc, 1 x 3Exc, 1 x 4Exc, 3 x 1VG, 1 x 2VG, 1 x VG, 14 x CAC, 7 x CACIB, 6 x RCAC, 2 x RCACIB, 2 x JBOB and 2 x BOB.
At the beginning of 2010, his showcarriere ended after I had to castrate him.
Craffitsh was not the easiest in terms of character. He always tried to recreate the boundaries and loved to chase dogs, just like his mother Amy. However, he never fought or damaged another dog, but because of his enormous size (89 cm height) everyone was terrified of him and it seemed as if he enjoyed it very much! In the pack, also with other males, it was never a problem and he could also cuddle very intense with you .
Craffitsh was a brother of Crantiffic Argaï (died of liver shunt), Cala (died of a stomach torsion) and Cwillyaigne (died during jaw surgery).
There is not bred with Craffitsh.
